For months, Bulldozer (Grammostola pulchra) has had a large leaf as a mat in her enclosure, since she seems to like having different textures to be on. (On a few previous occasions, I watched her try to drag the leaf before, but she didn't seem to realize that she couldn't drag it while she was sitting on it.)
Today, after she pooped in her water dish, she dragged her leaf into the dish (to cover the evidence!) and pulled her rubber mat closer to the dish.
When I pulled the leaf aside to remove and clean the dish, she grabbed the leaf and wouldn't let go (or get out of the dish).
