Pretty much the same. Not sure about them being a smaller species.I have a 1/2” sling coming this week, but haven’t found much information. I assume they would be kept in a similar fashion to my E. campestratus? And is it true they are a smaller species? I do know they are super slow growers. My E. campestratus is almost 2 and maybe 2” if they’re lucky. Any information would be appreciated.
I’ve had my E. campestratus for 6 months and it’s molted for me twice. It has definitely put on size, but nowhere near my Avic or B. emilia. It has gotten a little more attitude after the last molt, but was the only tarantula I dared handle, until today, when my E. weijenberghi arrived and it transferred itself to the deli via my hand. My E. campestratus has a cork burrow I made for them, but they are out as much as they hide. They have recently taken to putting a foot on the water bowl to prevent me from removing it to clean. Despite how slow this genus grows, they are probably my favourite, which is why I chose my new little buddy. All but one of my tarantulas are from Tarantula Canada, love them so much, and shipping is always a dream (minus the courier just dumping them at my front door).

Is there a knack to sexing tarantulas so small? My E. campestratus is 2” and I’m still not 100% sure.
Luck that your tarantula gives you a perfect molt, steady hands and patience. The smallest molts I've sexed out were 3 1/2" Aphonopelma species
