Well. The title says it all. Over a year now, and my efforts to finding one in Canada have been zero to none.
those of you, lucky enough to have purchased slings in the last years, i would like to discuss your sling care observations.
to me its pretty basic. But i only have Tom Morans videos. His recent one, (ironic that i havent watched any of his new material in months), is about this species. I was bored and wanted to watch some tarantula videos and decided to see what He had been doing lately. The shocker.
this is obviously what pushed me to the edge. This is a species that i find very interesting. Not only by their looks, but different defensiveness, compared to other old worlds.
this is appealing to me. I don’t mind speed and defensiveness. I still enjoy a tarantula that is not ready to bolt and defend itself just because i opened the enclosure.
what have your experiences with slings been, versus adults.
has anyone been able to find trust worthy breeders?
has somebody been planning a breeding project?
please share any pertinent observations on the evolution of these tarantulas in your care.
from different behavior depending on your local weather/season.
to percentage of visibility.
did you keep it with deep sub? Or attempt less sub in a “enclosure is burrow” style enclore.
