I am still amazed at the number of T's that sport the strips on the legs such as yours. We are wanting an A. Semanni when the space comes available and I know they have stripes as well. From just looking at the shops and such how do you tell the difference.

It's actually very distinctive.
If you look at some clear pics of one of the breeders sites, side by side, you'll notice the differences between the two species without any trouble at all.

Thanx im pretty sure she will. She was getting real cramped in that little thing so I got her in a 5 gal now. I only got my emps to move left and I am offically rid of those innoying "kritter keepers". My T acually let me move her today! She didnt put up a fight or anything. Just kick me a few times!

One of my females got a little upset with me the other night - thought I'd take a picture :)

OMG, they did it!

This is the first time, the mating process was exemplary. I had mated Ts before, but never saw the act so clear, as now. Everything seemed perfect this time. So I'm hoping for an eggsack. Bad thing is, I had not the chance to make more pix...

0.1 Ephebopus murinus (WALCKENAER, 1837)

1.0 Ephebopus murinus (WALCKENAER, 1837)

Mating 2005.02.12.

Everything was just fine. The male walked into the burrow entrance of the female, and both came outside. Every shake of the male was followed by the drumming of the female. And when the female offered him to insert his bulbs, he didn't hesitated... so, that's the story for know. Hope all for me, to become an eggsack! :D

Oh, thank You for enlighten me. See, I'm allways learning, everyday something new. :D

They are gorgeous, the female is an angel, but the male is exactly the other half.

A little aggravated, You see? :D But I was very surpised, how fast he show me his defending pose... and how strong he strikes! A little devil, he is.

I think, I haven't heard it yet, because I have a lot to learn! :D But no problem, the best way to learn english, is to read a lot, and hear a lot.

OT

I watch my DVDs mostly in english tone, with english subtitle. That's a good way to learn.
