T. Blondi 3" on the left and 2" Giant vineagroon, never seen them available that young so I jumped. Looking to get G. Swammerdami and Scolopendra Sp white legs. Aswell as AGM and maybe a rhino roach.
T blondi is a fall hazard just so you know. I'd swap the 2 enclosures

Slowly coming back to the hobby :)

All 14"x10"x9" acrylic shoebox enclosures except geniculata's and tripepii's. Due to their size, they both live in 15"x15"x15" glass enclosures each.

T. albopilosum:

New enclosure for my E. campestratus sling. This enclosure is, at the moment, certainly too large--but last molt saw the sling double in size, and it's in premolt once again. I spotted a couple soil mites in the previous enclosure and it was starting to itch so once this one was prepped I moved it over. It should grow into it quickly, fingers crossed! It's a cheapo acrylic off Amazon, one of those crappy "held together with clear rubber bands." I didn't pick it--it was purchased as a gift by a well-meaning S/O. I've sealed it with clear silicone (aquarium safe, no additives) and let that dry, then set it up with coco coir, cleaned dry leaves, washed Tradescantia zebrina & Sedum oreganum cuttings. So far the sling has found the burrow and hid for awhile, then found the heating mat behind the enclosure--set up vertically, with about an inch of distance between acrylic & mat--and is basking there.

More about the cooling setup than the enclosure...

Using an aquarium chiller to cool water that's pumped through a mat with water channels in it beneath the tank, so as to keep the substrate at 55F despite being in a room kept at 75F.

Nice! How do you manage to grow moss in there?

That is the patch I have had the longest. It's done well even only getting sprayed once a week.
At some point a small mister will go on.

Starting to think about starting my next big build. Most likely for another big crab colony.
Found this nice piece of oak in the woods that just had a nice feel to it with all the twists in the grain texture. And it’s hollow that I can stuff some moss in to help grow plants all through it Or leave hollow for some nice contrast to the build and room for critters to hide in. No idea but I’m starting to get that obsessed build mindset again. Have two 18x18x24’s just begging to be adorned!
