I am also pondering 2 builds. I have a 12x12x18 Exo new just sitting here, but the main one in my head right now is a 18x18x36. I have to replace a side and I'm going to shorten the door so that I can have a deeper substrate. Water feature, etc. It's going to be a tropical set up with a misting system. As for critters, not really sure yet. I do have a tailless whip scorpion coming up so maybe as they don't trample everything, are slower growing, and very hardy.

Slowly coming back to the hobby :)

All 14"x10"x9" acrylic shoebox enclosures except geniculata's and tripepii's. Due to their size, they both live in 15"x15"x15" glass enclosures each.

Starting to think about starting my next big build. Most likely for another big crab colony.
Found this nice piece of oak in the woods that just had a nice feel to it with all the twists in the grain texture. And it’s hollow that I can stuff some moss in to help grow plants all through it Or leave hollow for some nice contrast to the build and room for critters to hide in. No idea but I’m starting to get that obsessed build mindset again. Have two 18x18x24’s just begging to be adorned!

Thanks 👊 And please excuse my ignorance, but I’m not sure what you mean by straw like appearance 😬 I tried googling it but it didn’t help lol

Room update. Forever a work in progress 🥵

Decided to rehouse my swammerdami into a new enclosure, it's been in premolt for what feels like forever so I decided it should have time to settle. (I'm holding a black light in my other hand) 20250531_173053.jpg
