While I do enjoy my slings and juvie pokie. My adults are truly amazing!!! Especially Rasha. Even though she's huge she's not slow in any way when she decides to put a bit of speed on. She's super fast. You can even hear her feet when she's moving fast. She's so powerful!
For the most part she's pretty mellow but there are those times lol. She usually sits on her cork log like a stone and just lols her butt about. Never even budges when I go in he enclosure for clean up or water change. But the one time I was stupid and grabbed her water dish with my hand instead of tongs. She moved super quick and grabbed my hand. I in turn sat like a stone didn't even breathe lol. She felt around on my hand for a moment and went back to her log. I got so freaking lucky. Never get complacent you never know when they decided to check something out.
My 6" P. Vittata male did exactly this to me the other week, not fun.

Definitely a scary moment in my t room. I had to take a break and go sit down and think about how very lucky I was... I actually just rehoused my 6 inch P.vitatta I wasn't looking forward to it because she's so flighty and ready to be uncool. Wouldn't you know she was so easy to rehouse complied with everything. Gingerly got in the cup, gingerly walked out of the cup and went and hid. I was like, well that couldn't have gone better lol.

You can convert via google now, if you choose. Though metric is much better as a standard.
Yes, I know that 32 oz is about 1l, but that still doesn't tell me how high your deli cup is...

I tried to measure for you but discovered, depending on circumference, some are slightly taller and some slightly shorter.

My average 32 ounce cup is 14 centimeters tall (give or take depending on manufacturer - a few were closer to 15 centimeters tall); my average 16 ounce deli cups are generally just under 8 centimeters tall.

(Again, depends on circumference -- different manufacturers vary). Now I know why all my lids aren't interchangeable -- had never really measured before!

What? You can't convert volume into height, I thought Germans were very detail oriented... :troll:

I only realized later you were asking height haha. MY mistake!:wacky:

I have a friend that owns a farm in Minas Gerais in Brazil - he says I can borrow it to stay there any time I want...

This is currently the largest in my collection my adult female Pamphobeteus sp mascara she around 7" maybe just a touch over, it as been said that these get 8-9" being closer to the latter. I know she's not the giant Theraphosa but hey a 7,8 or 9" bulky terrestrial tarantula is pretty impressive IMG_20170904_112513885~2.jpg

This is my female LP. I didn't measure her with her last molt but she's definitely not a sling anymore. LP on glass.jpg

Not the biggest, but the biggest in my collection right now:

US currency is 6.14 inches by 2.61 inches, or 15.6cm by 6.6cm.

What a sleek, sensual spider! I just want to run my pinky finger over her velvety back....

I live with my brother who is a traumatic brain injury survivor, and he occasionally pilfers my wallet without really realizing it's the wrong thing to do. This gives me a wonderful idea of where to keep money in my room! :smug:
