Yup all my Psalmopoeus just love dem snuggles
Lol.that is awesome and i am in school now to become a Dog obedience trainer and am incorporating training techniques so i can train mine to walk on a leash so i can register it as a service tarantula.Yes! All the time! I regularly put my hand into their enclosures and more often than not, my t’s will even run onto my open palm. It’s amazing the bond we have. I’ve gotten them trained to sit on top of my shoulder like parrots. We do synchronized hand movements (it took A LOT of reward based training, but man it was worth it). It’s weird though, they tend to curl up into a ball whenever I pull them out and hang out with them. It’s a trick I didn’t teach them, but kinda funny. And when I put them back, they’re always so exhausted with happiness at being played with that they go into their hides and sleep for a week.
Don't forget that they don't hear, so every instruction should be in sign language!!Lol.that is awesome and i am in school now to become a Dog obedience trainer and am incorporating training techniques so i can train mine to walk on a leash so i can register it as a service tarantula.
That's wonderfulI blocked one guy who said that he likes to eat tarantulas!
I guess not everyone understands sarcasmThat's wonderful
Most definitely and the hand signals will be phase two of training but i am really looking forward to designing the harness with compartments so i can take it grocery shopping and help carry smaller items.Don't forget that they don't hear, so every instruction should be in sign language!!
I wonder sometimes if people think before they provide dismissive and outright rude replies to genuine questions? No wonder members new to the forum choose to remain silent.I wonder what goes through the mind of these people. Is a tarantula just like another toy for them, where it's existence is just to entertain its keeper? Those 'keepers' simply don't care if its a stressful experience for the animal or not. All they think about is if they will be cool on social media.
Belly rubs. What a joke. Sometimes i wish tarantulas were more venomous and more prone to bite like a Phoneutria is.
My response wasn't directed towards SpiderRider1996, but to the person that recorded the clip.I wonder sometimes if people think before they provide dismissive and outright rude replies to genuine questions? No wonder members new to the forum choose to remain silent.
As i saw that they already recieved answers to their questions (And i dont think anybody ridiculed them), I decided to reply to the video as i was flabbergasted. However, if one reads the question by SpiderRider1996, it was a genuine request for constructive opinion and not ridicule.
Apparently.....as that reply was intended so.I guess not everyone understands sarcasm
I can't get over the fact you named your OBT WienerHere’s Wiener, my obt.
Wait. So. Just to confirm. You touch Wiener. Your Wiener specifically, because it would be weird to touch someone else's Wiener (not that anyone else would name their tarantula Wiener), but you're saying that you touch YOUR Wiener. How does that go for you? Is it an enjoyable experience?I touch and hold mine all the time. If I want the fuzzy leg experience just add a paint brush.

Didn’t think about that, maybe I should have used one of the other T’s in my virtual simulator. I plead the 5th.Wait. So. Just to confirm. You touch Wiener. Let it be known that I am DYING with laughter right now. You did this to yourself, Craig. And by "this" I mean mentioning the fact that you touch your tarantula, obviously. You had to have known it was coming, maybe even secretly hoping it would, because the opportunity is pure GOLD, Craig.
You’re too pure for this world, Craig. Never change my friendDidn’t think about that
Well seeing as how this is one of the most active forums I have ever been on, I am going to go out on a limb and say its not actually stopping all that many from posting.I wonder sometimes if people think before they provide dismissive and outright rude replies to genuine questions?
