Aghh, you so bad! poor Gal dont even know the switch you madeDestiny is still protecting and tending to empty sac. I went to spray mist the enclosure and had to close the door right away. She came out full force again with some serious threat postures and fangs withdrawn. Ripping her web and practically jumping out legs wide spread open. I'm not going to mist anymore now.;P
She's really taking the mother role seriously! I love it!![]()
Haha... She is so involved with that sac. Just thinking about opening the doors of the enclosure gets her in an amazing threat pose. She practically stands on just her two hind legs trying to make herself look huge. She fully rebuilt the nest. I am going to wait till she comes out to feed her. And unfortunately, she may not take a roach... she is so darn picky.:wall: I hope she will be starving enough to take one down cause she is not going to ever get a cricket again.Aghh, you so bad! poor Gal dont even know the switch you made
At least will you give her big juicy roach?
watch out when she figures out she write to 'child protective services' you up for sacnapping
Congrats on good looking leggs
I had it between 80-90%. I can't see how it was a humidity problem:?Sorry man.
Anyone know what happened here? I think it might have been a humidity problem.
80-85 is really really warm for eggs exposed out of the egg sac imo.small 20W light above the entire setup to warm the cubical the setup was in to maintain the temps at 80-85F
Ryan...is it possible the lamp dried them out (dry heat)...my T room is 83 degrees but with a moist heat...my incubators were at about the same heat, but not a dry heat...maybe this had something to do with it?Could have been humidity. As I mentioned before I have never seen 80-90% and no condensation at all in the setup. As I said on ATS I am pretty sure you can blame this,

Chin up man. I am sure you will learn from this and do well next time.
That is very good info  I tend to go higher and have had success...but I think that is due to the heat not being dry....pure specualtion though.I don't know. Its all speculation at this point. But I do know I would never keep my Ts or my egg sacs in that temperature range. 80 is about as high as I'll go but 76-78 is my target temp for the room.
