i was offered H minax slings."Haplopelma minax" sling; whether it is true minax I have no idea.
Subadult female Haplopelma albostriatum:
I've been looking for L. violaceopes for a while now (ironically). How large are they? I could trade you my minax for them.i was offered H minax slings.
wondering if i should get one...that or a singapore blue.
and very beautiful albo.
no idea...have to see what my dealer brings in.I've been looking for L. violaceopes for a while now (ironically). How large are they? I could trade you my minax for them.
If they're too small (under 1"), I'd suggest avoiding them, because L. violaceopes slings tend to just die for absolutely no reason. I had two before, a few months ago; they were doing fine, eating very well, molted once or twice and then died, completely out of the blue. Most other people here on AB have had similar experiences with this species in general.no idea...have to see what my dealer brings in.
probably slings though.
i'd love your minax.
does it act much like cobalt blue?(hiding in a hole all day...)
cause i see you get pics of it out in the open.
yeah...i heard of that too.If they're too small (under 1"), I'd suggest avoiding them, because L. violaceopes slings tend to just die for absolutely no reason. I'm just hoping the minax are more hardy. Oh and I'm still keeping them in small delicups lined with tissue paper due to their size, so I can't say anything about how reclusive they are. I would expect them to be as much as a pet hole as H. lividum though. Once they molt they'll be rehoused. They have massive appetites
Nice vid! Could not agree with you more!*shudders* - "pet holes"
