the sp."Cambodia" you show here looks similar to what ive seen as sp."Malthai"
who knows if there the same tho.nice shots btw!

I think it too it is very similar to H. sp. Malthai. Nice spiders and photos.

yes, they look very similar. But as far as I know, Ornithoctonus spec. Malthai was collected in Thailand and Haplopelma spec. Cambodia in ....Cambodia. :D

syn i thought that was a orinthoctonus sp?? is that supposed to be a haplopelma?

well it appears by the shape of the sternum this may prove to be the Malthai species.the longish sternum points to Ornithoctonus.Haplopelma have a more roundish shape.
why not look at the stridulating organ and be sure it is Haplopelma or not?

hmm, until the circumstances are not resolved, I gonna call them Ornithoctoninae spec. Cambodia ...I think I cant do anything wrong with that.
