Great Pics! What a beautiful setup. So is this an arboreal or terrestrial sp? Is that first shot from the top or front? At first I thought the first pic was a front shot and this is an arboreal but then I saw the the burrows? Maybe you can get some pics of the tank she's in. Anyway beautiful spiders, how big are they?

Thanks everyone.

brachy,

The tank is one of the exoterra 18x18x24". The lighting is shared by 2 tanks and is a 36" coralife light with 2 10,000K 65 Watt bulbs.

Steven.WK,

This is an arboreal species, the first picture is looking at the front of the tank. She is ~8" DLS.

Brett,

I will post pictures of the mating, I hope to pair them up this coming week.

Gigus,
The males do have some blue in them until their ultimate molt, after that they look well, lime-green. Very dimorphic.

redknee_freak,
Thank you very much. This species can be picky but once they are happy, they are very hardy. Males really only get blue on the legs, and then turn green. Hope your g/f enjoys the A. purpurea, they are really beautiful.
