darn it ive always wanted a c, schioedtei! but at molts they turn out to be sp blues...sigh... wat luck dont u reckon?

This boy has been cohabing with my female for ~7 weeks now. He's on loan from Mike (Goliath).

Ultimate male Cyriopagopus schioedtei.

Yes, it seems to take them until adulthood to get that intense blue colour! My smaller female still has a *little* brown left to get rid of ;)

Does anyone have a really picture of my Fav Haplopema species

H. Minax in adult female form? would love to see that, to much lividum for me cobolts are cool but Minax are awsome.

whats the largest of the Haplopema??

Here's a picture of an adult female of the variety from north Thailand (very big, uniform black with obscure or absent chevrons and a dark mossy green carapace) close to the 20 cm mark ;-)



The largest of the Haplopelma species is imo found in the schmidti group (H. schmidti, hainanum and others), closely followed by the above north thai variety of H. minax, but also H. robustum must be enormous. According to the original description a female measured 66 mm with a carapace measuring 30 x 25 mm ... !

Absolutely stunning! I have a few species from this genus, lividum (2x), minax and albostriatum. They are all spiderlings and I haven't seen them yet. They are all in their little underround tunnels. I really love the sight of those holes with webbing all over the place. Hopefully the minax will end up as the one Søren is showing.

i was wondering where u all guys found these " all blue" H.lividum !! that of mine ,her body is a little grey like some of H.lividum here above! :( :( :(

a petshop owner told me that in 6 Ts ,there're 5 male ,only one female ,and the really beauty "all blue"among them is only 30%
really lucky guys u' r
