Here is a freshly molted ultimate male Haplopelma lividum.

I got him at 2nd-instar in November, 2003.

25 cm legspan. Fastest growing T I know of. Males mature in less than a year, Females in less than 2 years.

Black variety of Haplopelma schmidti from the Hainana Island better known as "Selenocosmia hainana" just got some slings of this species...thank Martin! they'll be very usefull!!!!!!!!

Picture is also shown on the website of the British Tarantula society...

These are unreal; I love the sculpted look of the front legs. Quite a bit like an old world E. murinus.

Yes , it would be greate !! she wear 30 days after molting so i see good chances ,

Normally they build eggsac´s in spring, when it´s getting warmer outside.
