I'm gonna start a thread where you can post all about any cockroaches you have! It can be their enclosure, babies, literally anything with a cockroach in it.
That's amazing! Hopefully your colony will grow even more.I bought a batch of dubia to be used as feeders, but I must admit, I find them intriguing in their own right. As long as you keep them warm and well fed, you really can't go wrong, can you? It's only been a month, but it sure looks like they're multiplying already.
That’s so cute!So now I have a single pet dubia roach.
whats the care like for these? I have some but they aren't breeding. I believe my setup may be missing something.Fresh carrot for the Halloween Hissers (Elliptorhina javanica).
I honestly haven't even been trying and they are breeding. I just had babies appear in their enclosure yesterday. But I've got them on a bioactive display setup. Also could be temp (my room holds at about 75 to 80.) Could be food. Chick feed and fresh veggies. So I'm not even sure what it may be.whats the care like for these? any images of the setup? I'd like to see what your ventilation is like. What is your substrate?I honestly haven't even been trying and they are breeding. It's a Tarantula Cribs 8 inch cube. Holes are 2mm in size. Any bigger and I'd worry about the babies getting out. Substrate is ABG mix. I don't have any plants in there just because my room doesn't get enough light and it's not all that well set up. My dubia colony has a better setup. I'll post pics of both. And in the second picture that's both the common and halloween hissers.any images of the setup? I'd like to see what your ventilation is like. What is your substrate?
