I think she's female

The time till she'll have her next molt depends strongly on how much you feed and the temperature she is kept.

judging from the size of her behind she' feeding well {D

My GBB grew quite quickly out of her juvenile colours, so my guess would be another 2 month till the next molt

My GBB sling molts about every 6 weeks or so.
It would be difficult to sex one that small. Wait till it is about 3 inches and you can sex it with a molt

I'd guess that was a male. Mine is the exact same size and looks similar as well, but I think it's a female. Maybe later in their lives we can mate em up :D

From what I understand, even a female at that size would
appear to be male. It's really too early to tell.

Nice fat little sling though. He/she appears to be very
well cared for. Congratz. :)

C. cyaneopubescens postmolt, looking foxy!

Normally, this girl lives in my office, but due to a natural disaster there she had to be moved. My basement bugroom tends to have very high humidity much of the time, and since GBB's have a reputation for doing poorly in such a setting, I elected to send her to live at my sister's (Linsey Pyne) house until the office gets repaired. She (my sister) was able to snap off this very impressive picture when she (the spider) molted this past weekened.

Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens

Somehow, I didn't see a thread for these beauties, so I'll start one.
And here's a pic of one of my gems...

I absolutely adore these T's. I don't have one as yet but I intend to change that. Does anyone have any idea what sort of price I'd be looking at to buy one in the UK? I'm going to get one regardless of the price, it'd just be nice to know if I have to save up or not.

Wow this is an old thread. I need more light. I haven't been able to get good pictures of my sling yet to clearly show all the striping :(
