What a beautiful spider, shame she's no longer with us. Any idea how many (if any) are breeding these guys? I've been more and more fascinated with Chilobrachys since my C huahini kicked my ass all over the bathroom last month. I would LOVE to add a T like this to my collection. There is a subtle beauty to these T's. They have such a velvety sheen and a richness to the coloration. Plus they're feisty!
Wow! those are some nice pics! I can't believe the size difference between sexes within this genus. Btw if anyone could have a look at one of my spiders. I purchased it as unidentified but recently thought it was selenocosmia javanensis but now I'm thinking Chilobrachys dyscopus.
