Well, if you read my previous post in this thread you would know. Somebody already asked this question, which tells me you didn't read the entire thread.

When I have eggsacs I turn them every 4 hours. It allows to eggs to shift around providing proper incubation.

How did the mother react when you took the eggsac? I will be attempting to breed A. metallica and P. metallica in the reasonably near future so I'm a little concerned about maternal instinct. Also, has anyone noticed any change in attitude after taking the eggsac? I'm wondering if it's possible to condition a T into considering humans as eggsac-stealing predators.

I have heard, if you give the female a cotton ball right after you take the eggsac, she doesn't even notice that the real eggsac is not there !
I think this may help, so she wouldn't be stressed and probably no change in attitude !

maybe a soft cotton fabric ball wouldnt be so bad since the fangs would just puncture the fabric and then pull out with no muss/fuss etc. Stuff some pillow batting inside maybe? This seems to jive with the old porcelain eggs some people used to put under hens that were too old to lay since it made them feel better or something. Funny stuff but it might be worth a try. {D

This is her first molt since I got her in January. I just wanted to share her in all her glory - Why can't they just stay these colors??
