You don't need to feed live prey, so you can cut oversized prey in half and give it to them.
Thats pretty cool. I pulled the head off a large cricket and gsve it to my g pulchripes sling. It jumped right on it but it kept kicking him/her off. After getting kicked off over and over it actually gave the headless cricket a threat display for about 5 min before it stopped. First time a tarantula made me laughAwesome picture!
