Untrue. Ooths can stand temps under freezing for days. It will be fine. Mist the cup it’s in every other day and keep it warm. May or may not hatch.

Since you found her as an adult and she laid an ooth shortly afterwards I can almost guarantee you she already mated.

Ya, either way I am still taking care of the the ooth and keeping an eye on it daily since I put it it a warm room. This is going to sound strange (or maybe not) but I mummified her (Winter) and have her in a casket in my bedroom.

I live in CA and she had a bit of blue on her lip so I was thinking Arizona (Bordered?) Mantis?

If ur in California it could be the Chinese mantis

Chinese mantis look different, they would have a longer skinny body with longer wings

What i meant is you might be confused because Chinese mantis can be green or brown, please look up a picture of one.
