It's possible. The Stagomantis species can be pretty hard to tell apart.I live in CA and she had a bit of blue on her lip so I was thinking Arizona (Bordered?) Mantis?

Stagmomantis limbata.I live in CA and she had a bit of blue on her lip so I was thinking Arizona (Bordered?) Mantis?
i agree, the white tips of the wings seem to confirmStagmomantis limbata.
Thanks. That's kind of where I had landed after comparing more pics.i agree, the white tips of the wings seem to confirm
Not all S. limbata have the white tips. Not something you can really use to confirm. It’s the blue above the mandibles that would confirm it as a limbata.i agree, the white tips of the wings seem to confirm
aren't there a few other american species that have the blue lips, or are my source images just misidentified (carolina, californica)Not all S. limbata have the white tips. Not something you can really use to confirm. It’s the blue above the mandibles that would confirm it as a limbata.
No, californica doesn’t have the blue around the mouth. It might be a California mantis. You asked where to get more. Buy online or just look for more in your garden.
