I asked the guy I got her from and he assured me it was B boehmei.

This picture is not misleading at all. I see 2 indications that it's a Baumgarteni, 1st is on the carapace, boehmei's have very little to no black patch with reddish color, baumgarteni's have a carapace much like a smithi with tan surroundings. 2nd the legs, boehmei's have a reddish pattern from top to bottom, while baumgarteni's have a very bright red knee going down to a light orange color. The only thing I need left to positively id this as a Baumgarteni is a picture of the Metatarsus between the Tibia and the Tarsas(tip of the legs) there is where you will find the Nike-like check mark, if it's orange you got a Baumgarteni. I've positively Id'd about 6 of these guys.Hi!
I see no any signs of it shall be B. baumgarteni.
I believe the character of red coloration on the current specimen's legs leads you to make this mistake.
