The 2 species are very similar but there are distinct differences. Also Boehmei's are very skittish while Baumgarteni's have a temperament like a Smithi. Check it out and let me know.I will have to look into that.
I bought it as a boehmei, so that's what I label it as.
Hey man, Now that's what I'm talking about!! B albiceps look great. I guess the pattern superficially remind me of one of my local faves, A hentzi. Around here, they can vary in color somewhat with many looking somewhat like this but certainly nowhere near the size of B albiceps once near/at aulthood. Thanks for sharing. You've got an outstanding collection!

Are you sure this is not a Baumgarteni? The only way to tell is a Baumgarteni has a orange/yellow check mark near the tips of their legs, a boehmei has a black check mark. By the look of this pic I can't get a clear shot of the mark. To be honest it looks like a Baumgarteni to me and if so nice find.
