Hi paul,i know this to be the case now. I long believed that it should be albopilosa according to the rules of nomenclature. You see normally if a genus name ends in the feminine 'a' then so should the species name etc.But 'ma' is neutral,neither feminine nor masculine so albopilosum works out fine.

So i got at least a couple of years with him,oh well,I'm not complaining. I don't see any tibial spurs yet or boxing glove like palps yet tho.

If Philth is right about it being a male, then they should come within 1 or 2 molts. How big is your T?

It should hook out next molt then. If it doesn't I am pretty sure you have a female.

I was readig and reading intently the section in my book regarding sexing, and it says that the triangle formed by the forward book lungs and the pedicel forms the epigynal plate, and in the male this is slightly raised, cant see that but it also says there is a tuft of bristles inj the middle,and of a different colour to the rest of the underside, and thats what appears to be present in my pic!
