wow! liking the colours mine is really dull at the mo, i think it's in pre-moult, i wish i could handle mine unfortunatley he's one hell of a hair kicker!! lmaoo, mine is a female i was happy when i found out .

Nice colour! I prefer male T's. The legspan is much nicer. pity they dont live long.

This one is quite the hair kicker too just like all my Brachys. Fortunately it doesnt bother me any. I also have noticed that they usually wont kick hairs once you get them out of the enclosure.

mine looks like that and is a male too. Oh well, at least i can send him out to stud when he's ready and make some babies. Mine is really skittish, but he has yet to throw any hairs at me

when she next moults i'll try and handle her, i was quite suprised when i got her, on alot of websites, and the petshop, they said that this species was a slow grower, but i think they are quite fast, mine has already moulted twice in the same month when i got her, she was about 2" when i got her and a 3 1/2" now, so i'm quite pleased bout that to, loads of skins to scare people ;P

hehe My boehmei....the FOURTH one molted today.. its a GIRL one out of 4 aint bad....ok....so it is bad....(shakes her fist at those 3 boys)

Should have fed it sowbugs...would have made a big difference you know.

Mine molted today too! Luckily it's my day off and I got to watch and photo. the entire process! I hope the pics come out good, as my "better half"(yeah right!) had the GOOD camera with him at work (timing is EVERYTHING,lol!) She was 4" after the last molt, and her legs aren't looking too much longer, but the carapace looks big (probably cause my L.para. just molted into Gigantor,lol) but the colors are breathtaking, esp. the flame patterns on her "knees". These ar def. one of my fave T's!

beautiful T! I have a "male" myself that I received from Michelle. It's abdomen just turned black from bright pink and BALD. It's about 3 1/2" now, I wonder if it'll be mature with this next molt.

Unforunately, Brian, we didn't get "sister" T's, we got "brother" T's instead. I have a immature male as well. It's too bad the female I've got is about 2 molts behind him. I will send him out or deliver him to Bruce and Bill of the Theraphosid Breeding Project.

My boehmei molted yesterday, and I was lucky enough to have the day off and shoot some pics. :clap: She was @ 4" previous to this molt.

Mine has gone from a 1.25" legspan when I got it to about a 4 or 5 inch legspan currently in about 16 months. Seems kinda quick to me.
