I used the old method of soaking in warm soapy water, then rinse. Some found good results from the use of steam from humidifiers. For larger molts however, old school works the best IMHO.

Johnson, she is GORGEOUS! Thanks so much for sharing the pics.

<Wendy strolls over to her Boehmei and tells her "Grow Bella, grow!">

I got my Boehmei in October, and she was about 3/4" then. By now she's reached the 2" mark and is getting ready to molt again. Yipee. :)

It must be my eyes but I keep getting 9 legs and 2 palps... must be a shadow or something... but it seemed to me that there would be legs on the other side of the molt... just a thought , my mistake :wall:

yeah I know what you mean :D it looks like the moult is lying in an strange position, my impression is two of the legs from the opposite side are folded under so you can see them this side :)

Don't throw letters or smileys at me <gets ready to duck> but one of the pics I see 1 T in da house and another one right in the middle of a moult right next to it. Obviously I must be wrong but it looks like that ;)

That's not slow at all for a Brachy! Remember to post pix when the time comes.

Everyone stop the counting already! {D Yep you are definitely seeing some shadows and so on, but it's 1 T, 1 exuvia. Thanks for the kind words though, for some not so brilliant photos!

It's been awhile since I've posted pics. Thought I'd take a few of my freshly molted adult female. She's just incredible post molt. I also included a sling pic to show the difference in coloration immediately post molt. These things seem to grow fairly fast for a Brachy.

She must get one! I have 2 slings and it is pretty neat how they are more colorful with every molt. U never know if the slings are gonna lean more toward orange or red.
