I'll definitely try that. Thanks!maybe you should try a hornworm on your metallica. theyre as fattening as a mouse and are cheaper and cant hurt the spider.

I've never tried these. I wonder if bearded dragons could dine on these also? Interesting.maybe you should try a hornworm on your metallica. theyre as fattening as a mouse and are cheaper and cant hurt the spider.

My MM P.cambridgei had the same reaction (minus the hairkicking of course) to a superworm. He grabbed but those worms wriggle so violently, and he let go if it, backing away in full threatposture, slapping the ground. I figured it would be a good meal for him, since he doesn't eat much....my badBest eater would have to be my AF G rosea, surprisingly. When she's not fasting, that is. She will devour everything I drop in her tank, to the point where after a long fast I got so excited that I overfed her until she looked like a balloon ready to pop (this was many years ago when I had no idea what I was doing, she was my first t and I got her when I was 17 and had no idea overfeeding was even possible).
Worst eater has to be my juvie B boehmei - sometimes she'll pounce as soon as the cricket hits the ground, but the majority of the time she'll slowly just stalk the crickets around her cage until the cricket makes a wrong move and literally runs into her mouth - but she gets my 'worst eater' award because she absolutely hates superworms. I have NEVER seen a threat display from her (or even really been kicked at) until I tried feeding her a superworm. Kicking like crazy, puffed up like a rooster and all sorts of angry. Here I am thinking I'm being a good mom and giving her a treat, but no, she was just so offended.
