Big rosehair nearly never eats. Goliath stirmi eats ANYTHING I throw in front of her. Well, crickets or roaches anyhow.

maybe you should try a hornworm on your metallica. theyre as fattening as a mouse and are cheaper and cant hurt the spider.
I've never tried these. I wonder if bearded dragons could dine on these also? Interesting.

Absolutely! All my lizards love them, and bearded dragons will eat just about anything... even those nasty superworm beetles.

Just don't catch hornworms from the wild... both tomato and tobacco hornworms are naturally poisonous, as they both have toxic host plants. Captive sourced hornworms are non-toxic.

Got a medium sized lp that will eat anything so far. She's now #1 for enthusiasm and willingness to eat. The stirmi will eat all the time, but let's the food wonder over to her. The lp runs at it anywhere in the enclosure

This Christmas, for my A. Genic, I'm going to take the lid off its enclosure, tie a full turkey to the back of my bike and ride off for it to chase. I'm pretty sure it would happily chase and eat it.

Best eater would have to be my AF G rosea, surprisingly. When she's not fasting, that is. She will devour everything I drop in her tank, to the point where after a long fast I got so excited that I overfed her until she looked like a balloon ready to pop (this was many years ago when I had no idea what I was doing, she was my first t and I got her when I was 17 and had no idea overfeeding was even possible).
Worst eater has to be my juvie B boehmei - sometimes she'll pounce as soon as the cricket hits the ground, but the majority of the time she'll slowly just stalk the crickets around her cage until the cricket makes a wrong move and literally runs into her mouth - but she gets my 'worst eater' award because she absolutely hates superworms. I have NEVER seen a threat display from her (or even really been kicked at) until I tried feeding her a superworm. Kicking like crazy, puffed up like a rooster and all sorts of angry. Here I am thinking I'm being a good mom and giving her a treat, but no, she was just so offended.

My MM P.cambridgei had the same reaction (minus the hairkicking of course) to a superworm. He grabbed but those worms wriggle so violently, and he let go if it, backing away in full threatposture, slapping the ground. I figured it would be a good meal for him, since he doesn't eat much....my bad :D

My A. genic is of course the best eater in my small collection. worst is my MM gbb. He hasnt eaten since shortly before I paired him.

My C. marshalli has an interesting feeding response... I got a video from the last feeding and she came to the mouth of her burrow and just waited for the roach to move. When it did she tapped it and managed to flip it on its back then just waited again. after a few minutes I nudged the roach with my tongs to try and get the T to grab it and she pushed the roach away like she didnt want it then all of a sudden bolts out of the burrow and grabs the roach.
