So I've had a look through some pics. 6 of my tarantulas seem to the "moss" looking carapace.

1) Poecilotheria ornata
2) Poecilotheria subfusca lowland
3) Poecilotheria tigrinawesseli
4) Chilobrachys fimbriatus
5) Cyriopagopus sp Hati Haiti
6) Heteroscodra maculata

Really great pics! One of the reasons I got into keeping spiders was being able to photograph them.

I was the other way around. It's strange but I've learnt to appreciate them even more now with having a camera.

You've never noticed that? It was the first thing I saw when I first looked at your photos.

Managed to get 2 pics of this stunning lass before she disappeared back into her cork bark tub. Wish I managed to get a couple of close ups but oh well.


Poecilotheria subfusca lowland.
