housing a 1 1/4 inch A.A.

i just put my A.A. (shes about an inch and a quarter) into a new container. the container is about 10 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches in diameter. i put some sticks in there and put 2 inches of peat moss/potting soil substrate on bottom (also well ventilated). anybody have any suggestions? is this container too big??

and what about heat lamps? i hear they dry out the cage really bad?

avic spp peru purple or sometimes sold in us as amazonica or variation but different spp, it could be a variation of a.urticans but who knows it wc from population in peru.
