My A.metallica..she is in that web almost a month and half..and she won't molt at all..:( She also have a black abdomen a whole month..humidity is 80% and tempature 25 degrees..

that versi is awesome.. mine looked like that when I got it in march. now it is about 5" or more and all beautiful pinks and purples.. no more stripey bum after this last molt.:( they are one of the most beautiful species for sure though!

I must say that you all have posted some absolutely phenomenal Avics. I just have my one little A. purpurea female, but after seeing this thread I may have to expand on that. Keep up the great pics and info!

Starlight, one of my A. versicolor ventrally sexed as male (hopefully will be pairly with my female eventually). Not the greatest angle but it shows his colors beautifully!
