Thanks! She's about 2 inches at the moment. She started showing a little color last molt, but not nearly as much as this past molt. It's been about 2 weeks since her last molt.

you have to be a member of the fangsandthings forum to see the pics, so linking them here only results in a little red cross.

That's strange... A. purpurea slings I've seen are green when young, and they become purple as they lose the pattern of the abdomen. That one has a clear drawing and is purple. How big is that one?

PD: When I say green, I'm talking about this:

I moved my two A. purpurea (2.5") into these new taller plastic habitats. About 1" damp ecoearth at the bottom, many ventilation holes at the top and some midway, and a stick with some plastic plant leaves.

My A. bicegoi will be moving into these too, but 2 of the 3 are in premolt, so I will wait until they molt before moving.

Looking forward to when they web themselves a hide.

Where did you get those containers? They look perfect for Avics! I feel so bad for my poor A. minatrix because I destroy her web every time I take the lid off her set-up.

SWEET!

They look great! If you don't mind: What size drill bit did you use for the vents? How well does your enclosure maintain humidity with that amount of holes? Really though, that enclosure looks great!

Not sure, I think either 3/32 or 1/8. I don't know what the humidity is in the enclosure, but I soak the substrate once a week or whenever it starts to dry up - i.e. keep it damp.
