I have recently gotten a pink toe T and bought a new enclosure and am looking something I can put in it for her to climb on and plants I haven't been able to find very much online if someone has a website that would sell arboreal tarantula decor

Out of curiosity, what are your personal thoughts on silk plants? I've read different opinions here about dyes, breaking down, etc.

That's a fantastic question. I have used vinyl plants and have used silk plants, but.....I do NOT just buy them, rinse them and use them like I do with plastic plants. Instead, I soak them...for days, sometimes a week or two. I change the water daily and generally find almost a soapiness in the water which gets less and less....I soak, rinse and repeat until the water remains clean looking and feeling. I have used them a lot as I can get them both cheaply and conveniently and they can look pretty nice, and I have never had any issues.

This is mostly vinyl plants with a bit of plastic.

a senior member, with several decades of breeding experience warned us all about silk plants many, many years ago. The steps CB takes are what he recommended.

I use plastic and cork only.
