Good to know

Hey Kyle,

Yes, she is from southern Cali.

Before molting a few months ago, she hadn't eaten in over 4 years!

Eric
Eric, 4 years. That's insane!....and just think 10 years ago I thought I was having trouble with a hentzi that had refused for 6 months. I just kept her with water and waited. I've since noted many similar experiences here on the board but four freaking years......WOW!! It's no wonder that it's thought that Aphonopelma may be among, if not THE longest lived t's. How long have you had her?

She's a BEAUTY btw . Thanks,

Terry

Looks like Aphonopelma crinirufum. There are some here in the states breeding this already. I sold an adult female about four months ago or so.

Hi all! I must say Aphonopelma's are my fav T's by far!

I have a couple A chalcodes adult females, 3 of whitch have the black femur!
but i got a 4th adult female said to be chalcodes, but the femur isnt black! its
a touch darker than the other segment, but not black! The spider also seems to be
a bit more 'fluffy' if that makes sence!?

Can there be a colour veriant like this, or is it something else?
Ill post a pic of it tomorrow!

Would be great if i could get some help on this! thanx:?
