20 degrees is too cold for a tarantula sweetie.

Fahrenheit, definitely. Celsius, not at all. I keep (and always kept) my inverts at 20° C night time, a IMO perfect temperature that 'breaks' (as a drop) the day ones.

To the OP- I would also be extremely pissed if I were you. I'd definitely read over the lease and see what it spelled out in there. I know that for my rental lease (which is commercial, but you know), my landlord has to contact me and give me notice about entering the premises.

I hope your Ts are okay and that you sort this out. What a terrible thing to come home to!

Exactly! I was pissed. I read over my lease, and it basically said they can come in without notice. Crazy right! I obviously didn't read that over well enough. But we just bought a house a week ago, so we won't be renting anymore. If someone comes in they'll get shot, Lol.

I think maybe I was being crazy paranoid Lol, because we really love them like little family members. I think I might have been paranoid and over thinking it as soon as I saw the note...I did have makeup on from a video shoot I was in, could be why my eyes were more sensitive, n probably didn't notice until I saw the note, Lol

But there are lots of wild ts there, and they will somehow survive this.....obviously differrent that the ts in hour home though

Uh huh, anyway... yes there are wild tarantulas in Texas, buuuut , in case you didnt know, the species in Ts do vary, and are different for what temperatures they can endure. I have a pink toe, a gooty, and a blue baboon and they can't endure certain temperatures, because they are not from Texas lol. Smh and it doesn't get cold in every country in the world, ... unless I'm not aware of that. Lol smh ... and no I wasn't saying the city would shut down over tarantulas, I was saying it's too cold to just go outside and take them somewhere in the middle of the night... Where would I take them? That was a rhetorical question sweetheart. No need to answer. Smarty pants. Lol. Anywho...

Oh you have all the right for be upset. Frankly, I would be 'out of control' if that happened to me. Thank God here in Italy (despite the fact that my house is my property) landlords etc doesn't act this way, here no one spray nothing (aside public trees/parks etc, which are public owned).
