Girlfriend thinks my collection is getting out of hand. In a way it makes me feel like I'm in the wrong haha. Whatever, I'll keep getting new additions to my collection whenever I please.

Get rid of her.
Life is too short to waste it on people with that level of ignorance.
Just my 2 cents, of course.

Keep the change! :D

You have to dish out money to get T's, girlfriends are free - you can fish or catch them fresh from the street, or any terrestrial habitat for that matter. So tell me, which has more monetary worth! T's, or girlfriends?!!!! :rage::punch::wacky::alien:hurting:

So...how would she feel if you told her to slow down or stop one of HER hobbies or passions? Oh, it would piss her off? Then why is it OK for her to do it to you?

It's easy for me.

Which will annoy me, destroy my sanity and suck the very soul from my being (not a euphemism, pull your minds out of the gutter) the least?

Obviously the spoders.

I never would allow anyone to bend me (again).
I love my single-life, there is no reason to change this state :D.

Relationship red flag! I have totally been in a relationship with a person who tried to put limits and rules on my hobbies. It sucked. I left him. Now I have a wonderful partner who isn't a controlling butt hat. My partner is super grossed out by bugs and spiders, but would never tell me to sell them. Because i respect my partner i keep all my crunchy critters in my office, and try to not lose any feeders in the house. No regrets.

I had this once...but with regards to fishing....you're buying another rod/reel? More plastics? You're going fishing again? You just went all day yesterday?

My response was blunt.

I've been fishing since I can remember and long before I met you or knew you existed, and I will be out fishing long after you are gone, its who I am and what makes me, me. Pick your fights woman...because this is one you have zero chance of ever winning, its going to lead to nothing but bad feelings and arguments until you accept the facts. Its like me telling you that you spend too much time with sea lions (she was a sea lion trainer)...just a stupid thing to get mad over, be happy for my time on the water like I am for you when you are working with your marine mammals. Just think about all the bad things a 20 something year old boyfriend might be up to...now think about me...I'm gonna be on a lake, now is it really such a terrible thing for me to be out on the water so much?

She literally never said a word about my fishing again, not once...damn, I shoulda married that one.o_O

I love how your girlfriend choosed the words.

- "... is getting out of hand" ah ah ah I like that, always. Is a classic :)

- "It's like aggressive". Amazing, sublime, marvellous!

With that said I managed to get rid of a couple of former 'gals' as well in the past but the 'spooders', even if involved, were innocents.

Epic was Ornella (Ornella is a name similar, so similar to ornata for not joking about), supposed to be the "woman of my life".

Well one day I've returned from a Chinatown feast (Milano one) where btw I was the only non Chinese guest in completely freaking heavy pre-molt (completely drunk, with the perfume of sexy Chinese "fun ladies" still on me etc) and she started to freak out, screaming, throwing things etc so I've said: "... ornata (instead of Ornella), please!".

Saying, pretty calmer: "Chris... I'm not one of your freaking spiders you can keep into a cage and enjoy with..." Ive never heard of her.

A thing worth of note is that I've never owned a genus Poecilotheria let alone a P.ornata in my entire life :pompous:

Does your recent centipede purchase leaded to this? No, I'm saying this because 'pedes are always in general able to trigger the 'last straw' effect :)
