I mean, if you've already got that many, an extra 3 or 4 is like less than 5%... The more you get, the smaller the percentage each additional spider counts for, so by that logic, there's no reason to stop. LOL!! She's beautiful, by the way. Dwarf species are the way to go - more bang for your buck!

Once it became clear that 7 of my Phormictopus, a Xenesthis and LP were females, I realized that a lot of space was about to be gobbled up by 9 spiders. So I pivoted to dwarfs for more spiders per square foot lol. I love the big girls, but it does limit my collection size and there are still so many cool spiders out there.

.I broke again. After waiting months for them to be available, been watching this sac in great anticipation,
2 Brachypelma baumgarteni slings (at an extremely stupid price hence only 2 but i need my female
) coming hopefully next week pics will follow as soon as they do

not yet, i still have to find the two last ones,
Lasiodora franciscana & Lasiodora camurujipe
the dream would be to one day have a female of each side by side
but for now i might have to reduce my numbers a bit (there are a few species i am less in love with, that i may need to find a good home for as well as some males), before i get any more & there is still the 0.1 Poecilotheria metallica i will get today...

I just welcomed it my first ever Pokie. My. P. Miranda.
Also got a female G. Pulcripes as well.
Then got four more Ts sexed. My T. Stirmi, P. Irminia, Phormictopus sp Dominican Purple are all females and then one of my GBBS turned out male.

It was between the Miranda and the Striata and I thought the Miranda was slightly better. I lost my H.mac sling a little bit ago and wanted to get another Old World arboreal to round things out.
