Tiny baby's

Theraphosinae sp Dorado
'Don Juan'
20231019_110553.jpg
Walked straight out onto the bark n chilled, wish all first time sling encounters went so smoothly 😆

Thrixopelma cyaneolum
'Cybill'
20231019_111038.jpg
Unlike the other 2 this little one bolted all over and wasn't as happy to walk out nicely, wouldn't care but this sp was ment to be the chilled one 🤣

Theraphosinae sp Cuzco
'Machu Picchu '
20231019_110251.jpg
Soon as the tissue opened came strutting out and into the moss before I could pick up my phone for pics. I got this one before little one disappeared 🤷🏻‍♀️

All are between 5/7 mm so are a bit smaller then expected but all look healthy apart from needing a good feed 😊 today's next job .
Welcome to the family little ones ❤

New spider day today!

1.0 Aphonopelma moderatum, about 2.75" DLS - supposed to be penultimate, but may be 2 molts away. Either way, he's a handsome chap:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!
Not even 40 minutes ago, at my door arrived two long-sought additions...

PXL_20231024_154906931.jpg
Poecilotheria formosa (about twice the size advertised), &...
PXL_20231024_153835058.jpg
a poecilotheria rufilata (EXACTLY as advertised)!

I am VERY happy to have these. I'm drawn to the Poecilotheria, & Avicularia (& their "formerly's") genus', & am beginning to hone my collections of each. These are lovely specimens, & were both VERY thirsty upon arrival..

Receiving tomorrow my first pokie: a rufilata, along with a B simoroxigorum, Linothele sericata, and Scolopendra polymorpha Sonoran Green. And a separate shipment of 5 M balfouri for a communal, and a couple slings produced from a mature male Sericopelma Santa Catalina I sent out! Super excited, especially for the balfouri communal

Probably Linothele megatheloides, have you asked the seller if he originally bought it as L. megatheloides or L. sericata "ex. megatheloides"? The synonymisation of the two species was rejected recently.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention! I believe it's the former

Newest ones I've gotten is a g.pulchra (FINALLY!), and a crassicrus tochtli (I hadn't even heard of this one before, totally new to me) ... I still have my heart set on a crassicrus guerro, but I'm interested to see how this tochtli looks as it grows and how it differs?

Oh that's an awesome lot there! very nice! I haven't yet ventured into picking up a pokie yet...

Ordered a Grammostola sp. "concepcion" sling that came in today. They're cute, and in 5 years it might have some adult colors, 😆.
