I've successfully bred a species of Myrmecophilus, apparently a first for the hobby.
Keeping them in a plastic jar filled with old potting soil, with small bark pieces and chips layered on top of each other and buried a bit in more potting soil, flake soil, rotted grain husks and crushed oak wood, so they have lots of tiny caverns to hide in, (much like an ant colony). In addition to the edible matter in the substrate, they're being fed unmedicated chick feed and apple slices. I'm keeping the jar in a cool, dark place, they are quite photosensitive.
Here are some pictures, one of my original WC large nymphs:
Adult male, (with small silver springtail for scale):
And a CB hatchling, (could only get a couple ventral shots of it against the plastic):
The hatchlings seem to be doing well, are fattening up quite a bit, and some may have molted already. I added some additional hides in the form of corrugated cardboard pieces, which they seem to love hiding in. Fingers crossed I can rear these babies to adulthood successfully!
