If you have a soldering iron, you can use it to stich it back together by melting lines across the cracks, bonding the two parts. I can show you what I mean when I get home, as I too have cracked a few of my lids and subsequently repaired them that way, lol.

Just search plastic welding.

It helps if you have thin strips of sacrificial material to melt and create the bond, otherwise you might melt through the thin layer of material you already cracked.

You could also just do a thin layer of clear nail polish, superglue, epoxy...

... duct tape

I had a possible backdrop of wood but I don’t know what to glue it down with or to just forgo using it as such. IMG_4508.jpeg IMG_4511.jpeg IMG_4509.jpeg
needs significantly more air holes. Maybe something better than gorilla tape to lock the lid down??

Unless you are gonna seal that backdrop to the tank with silicone or hot glue you should just expect your T to eventually find its way back there

Honestly I would just buy a new sheet to redo the cover and make it look nice.

You can find prefabricated polycarbonate parts from various suppliers all over the world wide web.

HERE IS ONE EXAMPLE <===

The lid repair job looks so bad I may as well use the tank for a terrestrial lol 😂 or get a new sheet of plexiglass.
