I can’t see the inside of the molt there, just the outside.

Well... turn of events..
Took the plunge.
Her left side has again taken most damage. She is able to move around, all legs are there but not all working.
I haven't turned her over yet, thought i should let her recover a little first. She still isnt taking a drop of water from the brush or pippet. But i think she needs food?
I'll turn her tomorrow and see how her underside looks, and mouth.
When should I feed her? I know she needs to recover and a cricket could actually injure her?
I'm hoping she can survive now, and doesn't do this soon again to repair the damage...

I can’t see the vid, but she looks better. She won’t be able to eat until after her fangs are fully hardened (fully black = ready to attack). She’ll need a few more days at least. What she absolutely needs is water. Maybe try putting her mouth parts in a shallow dish of water? Her lungs are in her abdomen, so as long as her whole body isn’t in there, she’s not going to drown. If you do decide to give her water yourself, flip her over gently and put a drop of water on her mouth. Then wait and watch. You’re looking to see if it slowly gets smaller (this won’t be quick). If she does take it all in, giver her another. One at a time. You’re doing great. She’ll get rid of those legs herself if she needs to.
Less is more right now, it's time to put her home and leave her be.

Also you need to monitor the area for leaking hemolymph, it will be clearish, not red like our blood. Apply cornstarch to the area as carefully as possible STAY AWAY FROM THE BOOK LUNGS, MOUTH PARTS, AND ANUS....all bets will be off and y'all have come to far to go out that way.

One withered leg, and not so sure about her back leg that appears to have movement but it's slightly over to one side .....

She's home now. 2 sunken water bowls, and a dampened corner of floor. She hasn't moved much, but she does have 2 good legs in the edge of a water bowl. Hope it's a good sign.

As long as she doesn't end up bleeding out, I am very hopeful.
I commend you for putting forth so much effort for her.
If anything else happens at this point, you must consider how short her last molt was, why it probably occurred (to repair something). This molt was textbook complicated. She may molt again on the sooner side, she may not...maybe it goes off without a hitch, maybe it won't. You did what you could, the rest is her. Feel very accomplished no matter what.

Bravo on all your efforts for your stunning girl! I hope to all that is good in this world that she fully recovers and yall enjoy each other's company for a long time to come
I'm keeping all of my senior girls on the 'not so fat' side as I'm so worried about them wanting to molt and it go wrong.

Huge congrats on a job well done! Should anything ever happen with a molt again (crossing my fingers it does not), you are better equipped now to handle it. Please do keep us updated. We’d love to see her progress.

She has made a good recovery, with 2 wonky legs. Her water bowls need replenishing regularly.
However, 4 days ago I gave her 1 cricket. Using long tweezers I put it in front of her. She made no attempt to get it. She even lifted her legs up to let it crawl under her? I left it for a couple of days, then took it out. I was worried it might harm her if it was hungry?
She normally eats the large medium black crickets, fair size. Should I try her with something else more tempting?

In my experience, it's been one of two things: too dehydrated to eat, or not ready yet. I have an especially dramatic avic that worries me to the brink of my own starvation but it's just her MO. I like to think they know it's too soon, but for every suspected wise T I have a blithering idiot that would eat mid molt if it could (a genic, LP)
This species in particular (G porteri or G rosea) I wouldnt bat an eye of they didn't want to eat for a year. I'm serious. Don't sweat it. Definitely don't leave them in for more than 24 hours.

The biggins can take a while before they feel up for eating after a molt.
Be patient and perhaps try a heavily wounded cricket or pre killed next attempt.

Id have to see a series of videos to believe that it's drinking that much. It's good that you are keeping up with making sure it does have water. Older bigger spiders, some will go a long long time before they are ready to eat after molting.

But, I gave her 1 cricket a few days ago. She usually eats the larger black crickets not the smaller brown. She made no attempt to get it. She even lifted her legs so it could crawl under her.
After a couple of days I took it out, as she was climbing the glass wall, assuming she was trying to keep away from it.
Surely she needs to eat now. Should I try something else she'd find more tempting?
