Agreed - possibly a cyst. If you type "cyst" into the search engine, it's going to return hundreds of results because this is something that happens somewhat frequently. I think the outcome in most cases is about 50/50 - some molt eventually and end up being fine and living a long time, while...
...frog 🐸 enclosure. My issue was under watering mine , so exact opposite as yours . Mine was old it might had died of natural causes .
more of a cyst / molting deformity with inverts as far I’m sure no veterinarians study inverts and diagnose them with cancer a mammal/reptile issue etc...
Looks like whatever this is; or a cyst. spinnerets heavily damaged /missing one side.

I’m going to be honest for my tarantula collection I kind of just go with the flow, which I wouldn’t recommend at all to anyone but more so I check on my tarantulas almost daily, I mist them when they look like they need water (and fill water dishes) and feed them when their abdomens are...

I’ve had spiders live or die with cyst/ underside abrasions. More often they don’t make it . I have a very old one too I can’t find but this is a newer one

Looking at yours, I don't believe it is on the booking like the link above. However, cysts do have the potential to always be present...
To @handfulofspiders , as @Charliemum said, I have a big AF T blondi who had a cyst PRIOR to any moult on her abdomen. Assume she had it for a while. The cyst was a lot larger than the one on yours and was very pronounced and protruding.
I didn't over feed her as didn't want to give any...
Based on the fact that the problem is on the bottom of the tarantula abdomen where it likely to abrade more, I'm hoping that this is just a cyst/abscess rather than a tumour so fingers crossed for you that a molt will improve things
...to a week, she still has not eaten
and then tonight, she was sitting on the acrylic and i noticed a bump on her booklung, i’m assuming it’s a cyst or some kind of injury? i’m really not sure, i included a picture of her enclosure just incase. 12x12 herpcult cube with reptisoil (it’s hard to...
Theraphosa blondi (9inch DLS) I got this female along with some other T blondi from a member on here. She had a massive cyst/protrusion on her abdomen and previous owner (and myself TBH), didn't think she would make it through next moult.
I kept her feeds down even though she was a ravenous...
I think you’ve done a really good job in caring for her and documenting her progress with the tumor/cyst. Do you notice the bleeding when she is fatter? I’m wondering if a more full abdomen would be putting pressure on it causing it to leak? Pulling for her to have a full recovery!
