Homoeomma chilense breeding: from an attempt to an achievement

Male: matured on 10/25/2021
Female: last molt on 11/02/2021

Both kept on room temperature. The female was fed prior to pairing attempt.
Pairing
By putting both enclosures open, side by side, I first let the male into the female’s enclosure, but both went into the male’s enclosure, then pairing happened there.
Observations
While the male was so into it, the female was not. The female even tried to attack the male, which I had to intervene quickly to stop it.

After that, the male eventually had successful insertion for about a few seconds, and got freed from the female alive.
Post Mating Care
No special treatment at all. No cooling, no heating, no magical dust sprinkled.

The female was kept in same room temperature, and was fed a few times more over the course of the process.
Time & Care
After 174 days (07/26/2022) of initial pairing, the female made the egg sac.

After 14 days (08/08/2022) of caring it’s egg sac, the female abandoned it. I took the egg sac, opened it, and put all eggs (total of 66) into incubator.

After 5 days (08/13/2022) of incubating, one by one, eggs started to turn into EWL.
Final Details
I am just very happy that it was successful breeding attempt, and this whole breeding attempt was, and still is very memorable experience.
