I purchased 2 slings of different species, but unfortunately one of them arrived with a ruptured abdomen and was DOA. I immediately contacted Steve to explain the situation and show a photo, and he got back to me almost immediately. He offered a freebie sling in addition to the replacement, which I declined because the freebie wasn't a species I was interested in owning, but it was a very kind offer regardless. When I got the package with the replacement, to my surprise I found that he had packed in a second sling of the replacement species. A classy move to make the best of a bad situation. I would buy from him again without hesitation.

I was looking for a female Brachypelma albopilosum when I stumbled upon arachnoiden.com and saw he had 3 inch+ female and two males available as a trio for a really reasonable price, along with a good sized unsexed Poecilotheria regalis at bargain price as well. Then to top it off Steve offers a scaled discount if you spend a 100 dollars or more, you can't beat that.

Steve was super friendly and attentive, and kept in constant communication through the whole process. Turn around was lightning quick (I ordered on a Tuesday and had delivery on Thursday). Steve even included a really cool freebie.

The website is configured for easy and quick selection of what you want to purchase. I received an automatic response for my order along with a personal response from Steve to insure that all aspects of my purchase would be communicated in an accurate and friendly manner. Unlike some past purchases I was at ease on this order through the whole process.

Delivery was quick. Packaging was excellent. The insulated box arrived over-night as promised and included a heat pack. The tarantulas were in excellent condition. I got a freebie tarantula. I will go back to buy more in the future.

Had been searching a long time for some species and saw it was available through arachnoiden. Looked at website and saw several others I have been wanting. Ordered and all arrived alive and well. Packaging was phenomenal. First thing I grabbed was the freebie. Read the label and thought I had misread it. Had to do a double take. Still in shock. Thanks to Steve I am one happy camper and my son will be ecstatic on Christmas! Will purchase from again. Also, from what I've seen, the sizes of the tarantulas are as described or larger. Doesn't embellish the sizes. Thank you!

Placed my order and it shipped the next possible shipping date. Steve made sure I knew when he was shipping and even let me know when I should expect my tracking number. He also checked the weather on both ends. When my tarantulas arrived they were perfectly packaged with proper insulation and "cushioning." I will definitely do business with him again.

I cannot even express in a short space how fantastic Steve was to deal with. I purchased over 70 spiders from Arachnoiden and every single one, from a tiny dwarf sling to a mature brachypelma male arrived perfectly. This guy's packaging is the best I've seen, and I've received MANY packages. I've had good packaging, even great, but this guy's skills are on a whole different level. I even had a molt in transit and even that little guy was spunky, the packaging was so good.

As a manager in a retail setting, one of the biggest things you can do to win me over is have great customer service. This guy nailed it. Not only was he great to deal with in terms of getting business done, but he was FUN to deal with, too. It never gets old when someone shares the same passion as you, and makes it clear how much they enjoy what they do while taking care of YOU, too.

Steve is awesome. I'm a repeat customer, which speaks to the quality of service. His new import brought in a bunch of hard-to-find species I've been after for a while, and he was offering them at amazingly good prices. Seeing his name attached to the post just made the deal that much sweeter.

He's great to talk spiders with, and he shares my interest in baboons, so he's a great source of more uncommon Africans. The consideration that went into the selection of the specimens he sent my way (both purchases and freebies) is extraordinary. He takes excellent care of his spiders, packs and ships them with the utmost attention to their needs, waiting until the last moment to drop them off to ship, and in addition to importing he takes the time to contribute to captive breeding efforts. He's just a great guy.

Steve communicated within an hour of purchase and throughout the whole transaction, especially during the arrival time. FedEx did screw up the delivery and I received the package late due to their mishaps, but Steve contacted them during that troubled time and helped them get it to me soon after. Packaging was great, spider was heathy, he even threw in a free tiger rump sling (molted successfully within hours of getting her out of the mail) in the future I will definitely buy from here again

Purchased several T's of different species. Containers were clearly labelled and T's in great condition. Pricing was very competitive. Overall I was very pleased with the transaction!
