What is this?

I had the sling (sold as a p.ornata) when it was tiny almost no pattern and it's not really crossed my mind until it molted around a week ago and all these stunning colours came through which I was not expecting and have had two people say it is a p.rufilata and I now believe that. Anyone else?
Yeah thanks people I've had it like 10 months aswell but it wasn't till it molted that all them colours came through. I think the guy I got them off got the labels for p ornata and p rufilata slings the wrong way round oh well stoked aha

I don't know man that looks like a male ornata too me. Get pics of the front legs ventral (underneath) to make easy to determine species.

You do know that Poecilotheria ornata are sexually dimorphic, right? Males lose the black stripe on the carapace around 2-3" and gain a drab green color that resembles rufilata. I betting the previous owners label is right and your comparing the appearance of a male to a females.

@CEC yeah of course mate I suspect it to be a male ornata to be honest and it's got blue underneath pretty much all of its legs when I get a good pic of its underside I will post it and it's my first pokie and the guy I got it off is clued up and knows his stuff
