This big momma hangs under my porch light, making easy meals out of the moths. This is at least the second male that she's decapitated while they're engaged mating - these males make the ultimate sacrifice to pass on their genes!
That is quite some pic ! Love how she's looking at you as if to say 'yer and ' , so cool you get these in your garden/porch.
As for that poor male at least he got to forfill his goal before she ate his head, his sacrifice pays off
