Pamphobeteus sp machala

Hello! I think it is a Male. Do you agree with that?

Thanks!
Pampho's in general have a pretty easily observed dark patch of epiandrous fusillae. How big is it? If larger than 3" or so, I'd say female.

Hello and thanks for your quick reply. Unfortunately I'm not that familiar with size data in inches. I would say it has a shade over 3.5 cm body length. This corresponds according to an online table about 1.4 inches.

I'd estimate that a T that size would have a leg span of around 4", which is plenty large enough to have a well developed patch of epiandrous fusillae if it were male.

This really is a big surprise. I thought I can see this typical male patch in the middle. Furthermore nearly every Sling I bought unsexed turned out to be male. Don 't get me wrong, I love my boys and they 're part of the family as well. But for a change discovering a female feels quite good.
