Found a "huge" (2-3 inches) funnel weaving Wolf Spider (I think) that has taken up residence in my windowsill. Unfortunately he/she cannot stay, but I was thinking about adopting it, but I'm not sure yet. Either way, very pretty spider and a very cool web!
Yeah I kinda wanted to second guess myself when I was posting, but decided to commit to my initial guess. I tried to get a good look at his eyes when I was taking the pictures, but as usual, the moment I leaned in close it bolted down the entrance to its lair. I thought I was seeing the large forward facing eyes that are indicative to Wolf Spiders, but I just couldn't make it out based on the crappy iPhone picture. I went with Wolf Spider based on shear size, since I never see grass spiders this large in our area. Hopefully I can get some nice close ups when I go to relocate it later on.

As far as I know grass spiders are far larger than sosippus which are the wolf spiders that web
