Going to rehouse Blueberry my GBB sling soon, thoughts on this set up? I can change anything/everything, its aspen on the substrate I thought she might use it in her webbing but I might remove it.
Yeah, I wouldn't use aspen in any tarantula enclosure. I've heard mixed things about cedar/pine being bad for them. Either way, it's not necessary, and agreed. That would even be scarce for an Avicularia/Caribena/Ybyrapora species. I'd give an inch of substrate.
Coconut fiber is really good, maybe add more bedding and some side vent holes, definitely keep the leaves, and like they said no aspen, I dunno if u pack your bedding down or not, I don't it makes it easier for the T to move, they will web walls if they make a tunnel anyways
hard to go wrong with good ol coco, like people have said here, maybe thicker substraight, i house my sling avic versi in a ferrero rocher box, turned up vertically ...got it from this guy
@Morgan1304 Yeap, I'm planning of making a Ferrero box enclosure soon! I love the UV glue in his most recent video, I might have to get some myself for custom enclosures
