She started feeding a day after I caught her. No sign of waning hunger, is it possible to over feed a tarantula? I figured she just won't eat if she isn't hungry right? It's fairly early in the season here so she probably went all winter without eatting.
Not really possible to overfeed a T. Just make sure that if it does become huge, it can't fall far and bust its abdomen open. Probably didn't eat all season like you said, so she'll eat pretty well Wish I could find T's around me, but awesome find!
No, a T cannot become obese. They do not store fat in a way that makes them unhealthy. A very "fat" T only becomes clumsy and more likely to injure itself.
